I received a baby monitor as a gift. The gift giver purchased an
extended warranty for the baby monitor. So, I've had the baby monitor for just under
four months when it suddenly stopped working. I went to get it replaced under the purchased extended warranty...only to find that
Babies R Us couldn't assist me in any way because the only receipt that I had was the gift receipt". The gift receipt was attached to the purchased
extended warranty/. The person who sold the warranty should have known to stable the original receipt and not the gift receipt?. The manager at the Babies R Us that I talked to told me he couldn't do anything:. I was very frustrated and that was made worse when this manager told me that he had gone out of his way by trying to look up the transaction for ten minutes.. I don't think that spending ten minutes trying to solve a problem was originally created by one of his employees is going out of his way:. Horrible service?. Waste of a protection plan by having the wrong receipt attached/. I will no longer be shopping at Babies R Us. 128fde1
